Hi, I’m melissa!

I am a learning designer, educator, and lifelong learner. I have experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and age levels. While teaching, I discovered that what I loved the most about my job was the design and development of learning activities. When you add technology to the mix, it is a win situation for me.  That is how I fell in love with Instructional Design.

I studied a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction that introduced me to courses related to Instructional Design. I certified myself as a digital professor, and enrolled in IDOL Courses, which is a hands on academy in Instructional Design and Technology. My experience encompasses developing content, writing objectives, LMS use, designing formative and summative assessments, and designing e learning activities.

What can you expect from me? I am a hard worker that is always willing to learn. I am a person that is optimistic and will look for ways to solve problems and get the task done. I believe that behind every experience there is an opportunity to learn. Lastly, I am a people person. I work well with others because I respect different viewpoints and ideas, and I am a firm believer that communication is key to success.
