Challenge
AT BCE Focus protecting confidential information is a top priority. Many employees lack knowledge of different ways confidential information may be disclosed and the consequences behind disclosing sensitive information. Therefore, training for new employees is mandatory.
Note: This is a personal project created for portfolio.

Solution
Since the target audience consists of new employees, they need to understand what confidential information entails and how to protect this type of information.
The Rise course includes a character new employees can relate to and the use of short scenarios related to real work experiences that make employees reflect on which is the best course of action.

Results
The intended outcome is for new BCE Focus employees to be better prepared to make appropriate decisions regarding confidential information.
Making Healthy Choices

Challenge
Many patients, ages 25-65, with a busy work schedule develop poor eating habits that affect their overall health. The Department and Health Prevention at HFY was looking for a proactive solution that guided and motivated busy patients into living a healthier lifestyle.
Note: This is a personal project created for portfolio.

Solution
The solution that best suits the patient profile is a blended approach. First, learners will take an e learning course and then they will have two face to face sessions.
This is an introductory course to healthy eating habits. The course includes drag and drop interactions, voice over, and captions.
After the course is completed, patients will meet in person for two face to face sessions. The first face to face session is for review purposes and creating plans and goals. The second session is a follow up with testing.

Results
The intended outcome is for patients to lower their cholesterol, blood pressure, and sugar levels in a 10 week period by learning how to identify healthy food choices and taking action.
Worplace Safety

Challenge
Thompson, an organic turkey meat supplier, needs their poultry processing plant workers to complete annual OSHA workplace safety
training.

Solution
The goal is to create a short eLearning module that explains OSHA CFR 1910 Subpart J – General Environmental Controls 1910.141 Sanitation. The module will include basic interactivity, summarized information, and images to enhance understanding.

Results
It is expected that employees understand the codes regarding OSHA CFR 1910 Subpart J -General Environmental Controls 1910.141 Sanitation.
Flight Attendant Decision Making

Challenge
Velvet Airlines needs to train new employees on how to handle difficult passengers when on flight. They have been receiving many complaints and negative feedback.
Note: This is a personal project created for portfolio purposes. It is based on branching scenarios. The airline is fictitious.
Even though the course was created in Articulate Storyline, I used Snagit software to record sections of the course.

Solution
The solution will be an elearning branched scenario course with situation that may encounter when on flight. they have to decide which is the best course of action to take every time a situation arises.

Results
The intended outcome is for flight attendants to feel confident they can handle difficult customers and improved customer satisfaction.
Management Decision Making to Improve Sales

Cell Mania is a small cellular company that was struggling with a decline in sales and an increase customer dissatisfaction. This has affected the overall business.

Toonly Software Tutorial

Project Details

Challenge
The desire to learn how to create animated videos is rising among educators, learners, and business people. How to add voiceover to characters and how to make characters move from one location to another are questions that arise in Toonly groups.
Note: For the purpose of this portfolio, only a short version of the course is shown. The complete course would include a “Try it Yourself” section and an “Assessment” section.
Even though the course was created in Articulate Storyline, I used Camtasia software to record sections of the course.

Solution
I created a software simulation in Articulate Storyline that shows step by step how to complete the two tasks.

Results
The intended outcome is for learners to be able to add the lip sync function to their characters and also make characters move from one location to another.
